CHASSE Building Team Celebrates 4th Annual CHASSE-Giving by Assembling More Than 2,200 Holiday Meal Boxes for Community
(TEMPE, Ariz. – Nov. 20, 2024) – CHASSE Building Team, an employee-owned and operated general contractor that oversees more than $500 million in construction projects across Arizona annually, kicked off the holiday season early by coming together for CHASSE-giving, an annual giving event wherein employees volunteer together to help the local community. This year, more than 80 local team members and partners took part, making the organization’s biggest success to date. Altogether, the team put together 2,200 holiday meal boxes for local families’ Thanksgiving celebrations. Each meal box contained pumpkin pies, a slew of traditional holiday side dishes, and other surprises. In total, the team has assembled and donated approximately 7,000 meal boxes since founding the event in 2021.
“CHASSE Building Team is proud to partner with school districts in the southeast, west, and north valleys to provide Thanksgiving boxes directly to families in need,” says Taylor Perkins of CHASSE Building Team. “The boxes will be available at designated pickup points in partnership with school districts. This way, with the district’s help, we are ensuring they are getting into the right hands. As a construction company specializing in K-12 education, we’re passionate about building strong relationships within the education community. Having partnered with over 50 school districts and education organizations, we are driven to create meaningful programs that make a difference for students and their families.”
According to Perkins, this marks CHASSE’s fourth year partnering with local school districts on this program, which is just one of the company’s many giving initiatives across the state. The award-winning general contractor has supported over 100 organizations throughout Arizona, contributing more than $4.5 million through fundraising, donations, and sponsorships. Additionally, CHASSE collectively volunteers an average of 4,000 hours annually through both company-wide and individual efforts.
“Our family at CHASSE is focused on literally helping to build Arizona via sustainable, responsible projects that run the gamut from schools and retail centers to nonprofit campuses and multi-family housing projects,” said Perkins. “This is also our home, and we want to build up the people and families across our community, too. We must maximize our ability to make a positive difference in the community we serve.”
The team was able to nearly double its donation this year thanks in great part to long-time friends, colleagues, helping hands, and partners at Steel Masters, Rikoshea Contracting, HJD Construction, Nunez Contracting, Techniprint, and more.
