Brad Vynalek Receives 2014 University of Arizona James R. Rogers College of Law Distinguished Alumnus Award
The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Brad Vynalek, a partner in the firm’s Phoenix office, received the 2014 Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Arizona James R. Rogers College of Law.
Vynalek was presented with his award at the University of Arizona Law School Commencement, on May 17, where he was delivering an alumni welcome address. He has also served as the current Law College Association’s president since 2012 and has served on related boards and led committees since 2000.
“It’s a real pleasure to return to one’s alma mater and deliver a speech,” said Vynalek. “I’m proud to be a Wildcat, and I look forward to many more years of involvement with U of A.”
Vynalek is a partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He routinely represents financial institutions, high tech and tech transfer entities, and clients from a broad array of industries. Vynalek is also a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and serves as chairman of Make-A-Wish® Arizona’s board of directors. Since 2012, he has been named in Southwest Super Lawyers® magazine for business litigation and in 2014 was listed in The Best Lawyers in America ® for commercial litigation.
Vynalek received his law degree from the University of Arizona and his bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Stanford University, where he served as a Public Service Honors Scholar. He is a graduate of both Valley Leadership Institute Class XXVI and the Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy.
