Badge Bash 2018 Gives Grown-Ups the Chance to Earn Badges and Support Girl Scouts

(PHOENIX – Oct. 8, 2018) – The Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC) is once again hosting Badge Bash 2018. This adults-only event will be held on Friday, Nov. 2, from 6-11 p.m. at The Bob & Renee Parsons Leadership Center for Girls and Women at Camp South Mountain, which is located at 1611 E. Dobbins Road in Phoenix.

During the event, Badge Bash attendees will have the chance to get together with a “troop” of people to test their skills and earn badges and patches while showing support for the power of the girl. Attendees can earn badges in such activities as archery, splatter painting with darts and sticks class/Zumba. After the festivities, a full dinner and award program will take place.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in both a silent and live auction for packages that could include hand-painted cookie jars by As You Wish Pottery, Kendra Scott jewelry, American Airlines ticket vouchers, Arizona Cardinals tickets, gift certificates from O.H.S.O. Brewery & Distillery, Four Peaks, and Snooze, a private dinner hosted by 319 Kitchen’s Chef Ivan, an in-home wine tasting party by PRP Wine International, and much more. The main auction item of the night will be a chance to name the Camp South Mountain fire pit for a year and have a s’mores party with guests.

A new addition to this year’s festivities is the Campfire Wind Down, a post Badge Bash party sponsored by Isagenix, where guests can enjoy music, dancing and traditional campfire desserts.

Other event sponsors include The Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona.

“One of the hallmarks of the Girl Scout program is the opportunity for our girls to earn badges.  Badge Bash gives that same opportunity to our guests,” said Jennifer Ho, the event coordinator.

Tickets for the event are $150/individual and troop tickets (10 registrants) are $1,500. They are available online at http://bit.ly/badge-bash-tickets.
