The Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits (Alliance) and Arizona Grantmakers Forum (AGF) are pleased to announce that as of 4 a.m., an estimated 1207 people have donated $123,322 to nearly 1,000 nonprofits across the state through the Arizona Gives Day movement.

Presented by FirstBank, Arizona Gives Day is a 24-hour online initiative encouraging Arizonans to recognize and financially support the efforts of various nonprofits from all over the state. Arizonans can go online at until 11:59 p.m. TODAY and pledge their financial support to the nonprofit of their choice. Last year, the initiative raised more than $1 million for Arizona non-profit organizations.

Any 501(c) 3 tax-exempt organization in Arizona was eligible to participate in the program. First Bank committed incentive funding, which will be shared with the nonprofits that meet certain milestones throughout the 24-hour period for such things as most donors in an hour, most donors overall, etc.
