Arizona Association for Economic Development Announces New Officers
The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) has announced its new officers for 2015.
Julie Engel, CEcD, president and CEO of Greater Yuma Development Corp., is AAED’s new president. Jennifer Graves, CEcD, economic development manager for the town of Gilbert, has assumed president-elect duties. Curt Woody, AZED Pro, director, economic development and tourism for the town of Marana is serving as vice president, while Richard Wilkie, economic development director/airport director for the city of Casa Grande has assumed the secretary/treasurer post. Danielle Casey, CEcD, EDFP, economic development director for the city of Scottsdale, is past-president.
The officers were approved at AAED’s general membership meeting held in conjunction with the organization’s spring conference in Prescott.
AAED, founded in 1974, has a mission n to serve as Arizona’s unified voice advocating for responsible economic development through an effective program of professional education, public policy, and collaboration.
