Arizona Association for Economic Development to Hold Virtual Fall Forum

(PHOENIX – Oct. 22, 2019) – The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) will hold its Fall Forum on Oct. 26-29. The virtual event will include discussions on how regions across the state are recovering from the economic effects of the pandemic and what is on the horizon for Arizona’s economy in 2021.

Among the topics to be covered in the educational sessions include:

  • “Business Retention and Expansion in the New Economy”
  • “New Virtual Workforce Environment”
  • “Diversity Equity & Inclusion: Changing the Conversation on Collaboration”
  • “What’s with the Downtown Focus?”
  • “From Classrooms to Careers: How Young Professionals are Breaking into Economic Development”
  • “Retail Trends: Resetting the Economic Development Table Post Pandemic”
  • “The Connective: Creating the Largest Smart Region:
  • “Center for Future of Arizona: Community Collaborations: Data for Decision-Making”
  • “Connect the Dots: Building a Collaborative Economy”

Additionally, AAED will present the peer-nominated Economic Development Distinguished by Excellence (EDDE) Awards and the Golden Prospector Awards to recognize the outstanding work of its members.

AAED’s Fall Forum is recognized by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) as a professional development event that counts toward the certification of Arizona Economic Development Professionals (AZED Pros) and Certified Economic Developer (CEcD).
