Advance Community Hosts Taste of Advance

(PHOENIX–March 29, 2024)– Held outdoors in the courtyard, Advance Community hosted its first-ever Taste of Advance event, highlighting the community work that the Phoenix-based nonprofit health organization does throughout the Valley and in its care locations around the world.

Guests were treated to a festive evening of food, drinks, and fun on March 14, while hearing success stories about Advance Community’s programs and missions.

The culinary experience took attendees on a global journey that celebrated the diverse and vibrant communities that Advance serves. While tasting mouthwatering dishes and drinks, prepared by the Advance’s nutrition team and representing partner countries from Mexico to Mozambique, attendees learned how the organization funds health education, food security, disease prevention, access to clean water, ecological home-building, and life-altering surgeries in Nicaragua, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mozambique, and Peru. They also heard about how the organization provides nutritious meals and companionship for local seniors and how Advance helps individuals manage diabetes by providing access to healthy and affordable diabetic nutrition food boxes.
