ACCEL Announces Bethany Eggleston as its Advancement Manager
(PHOENIX – Oct. 23, 2020) – Bethany Eggleston has joined ACCEL, a nonprofit organization serving children and adults who have developmental disabilities, as its advancement manager. Eggleston will be responsible for expanding community outreach, financial support and marketing efforts with ACCEL’s advancement team.
Prior to joining ACCEL, Eggleston worked with the American Diabetes Association in San Diego, Calif. She brings more than 15 years of experience in building strategic relationships in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, helping increase development through identification, cultivation, stewardship and solicitation.
“Bethany has been serving, supporting and advocating for organizations in her community that focus on helping children and adults with disabilities for many years,” says Jessie Bustamante, chief advancement officer of ACCEL. “That, along with her experience in strategy and advancement, makes her a perfect addition to our team. We’re thrilled to have her help us expand ACCEL’s mission.”
Out of the office, Eggleston is active in her community and has spoken at the Christian Scholar’s Conference to advocate for a conversation of change around employment in Christian institutions and the LGBTQ community. She was also the youngest woman to be recruited to her local YMCA’s board of advisors.
Eggleston holds a Bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from The University of Oklahoma and earned her Master’s in organizational leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University.
