AAED Spring Conference To Focus On ‘Cool Tools and Hot Topics’

(PHOENIX – March 25, 2019) The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) will host its annual Spring Conference, May 1-3 at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson.  The conference focus will be:  “Cool Tools and Hot Topics.”

Arizona’s former attorney general, Grant Woods, will provide opening remarks, “Assessing Arizona – A to Z,” and David Fitzsimmons, political cartoonist for the Arizona Daily Star, will be the luncheon speaker.

The conference will also include sessions related to: top economic development efforts, unmanned vehicle systems, communicating with policymakers, water issues and team building.

There will also be legislative and education updates.

In addition to educational programming, the conference will feature AAED’s annual EDDE Awards banquet recognizing Arizona’s top economic developers and Economic Development Academy of Arizona’s graduation ceremonies.

Early registration cost for the conference for members is $445.   The registration fee does not include accommodations.
