‘Managing The Decision Process During Leadership Change’ Will Be The Topic At Arizona Association For Economic Development’s January Luncheon

(TUCSON, Ariz. – Jan. 2, 2019) – A mayoral economic development forum featuring three southern Arizona mayors will be presented at the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED)’s next Southern Arizona luncheon, Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Arizona Inn, located at 2200 E. Elm St., in Tucson. Mayors Arturo Garino of the city of Nogales, Joe Winfield of the town of Oro Valley and Rick Mueller of the city of Sierra Vista will share their insights into the economic opportunities, trends and challenges faced in each of their southern Arizona communities. The mayoral panel will be moderated by Larry Lucero, Sr., director of economic development for Tucson Electric Power. The cost of the luncheon is $45 for AAED members, $65 for non-members and $75 for late registrants. To register, visit www.aaed.com/event/jan23. Mayoral Economic Development Forum To Be Topic At Arizona Association For Economic Development’s January Luncheon

(PHOENIX – Dec.13, 2018) -- The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) presented a check for $6,800 to Arizona Angels for Children at AAED’s annual charity luncheon and raffle. Avis Lopez (left), director for Arizona Angels for Children, accepted the check from AAED President-elect Nicole Snyder of Johnson Carlier and AAED Executive Director Joyce Grossman.

Proceeds from a silent auction and raffle ticket sales were donated to Arizona Angels for Children, which helps children in foster care and long-term placement. The organization works to ensure that children are cared for in a safe and productive environment. It also offers resources, such as teaching the children life skills, how to apply for a job, how to play sports, develop social skills, enhance self-esteem and build team work.
