Biltmore Bank of Arizona Honored as 2012 Most Admired Company; Singled Out for Commitment to Social Responsibility

Biltmore Bank of Arizona is pleased to announce that it has been named a 2012 Most Admired Company, a prestigious award is given annually to just 40 businesses in Arizona who excel in the areas of leadership excellence, social responsibility, customer opinion and workplace culture, by BestCompaniesAZ. In addition, while accepting their award during the Most Admired Company Dinner and Gala at the Ritz Carlton on September 5, the business bank was further honored as the top Arizona business in the spotlight category of social responsibility. “Our commitment to our community is an integral part of our business strategy,” said Biltmore Bank CEO Jeff Gaia. Prior civic activities include board participation in Phoenix Art Museum, Ohio State University Hospital, Greater Phoenix Leadership, United Way of Greater Phoenix (campaign Chairman), and the Nature Conservancy. Senior Credit Officer John T. Byrd has been active in the community for many years, serving on the boards of the Valley of the Sun YMCA, Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Valley of the Sun Communities in Schools, Midtown Rotary Club, Yuma Fine Arts Association, and Yuma Rotary Club. He has been active in Junior Achievement, and Friends of Mexican Art. On a professional basis, John has been a member and an instructor for the Risk Management Association and the Arizona Bankers Association. Paige Mulhollan volunteers nearly 40 Saturdays a year to Habitat for Humanity of Arizona – and has done so for more than a decade! He has even brought the entire office out for weekends of volunteerism to see giving back, firsthand. Managing Director Greg Lehmann is a member EC70, an organization devoted to raising millions of dollars for children’s organizations including Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Boys & Girls Clubs and UMOM New Day Centers.
