How to Maximize Instagram
As we all know, Instagram is one of the most popular and fastest-growing social media platforms. According to Agility PR, 90 percent of Instagram users follow at least one business and that more than a billion people not only use the app monthly, but 60 percent of users log in daily.
More than half of Instagram users discover new businesses, products and content using the Explore tab, so how do you make sure your page stands out among the masses?
First, start by utilizing relevant hashtags in stories and posts when appropriate. Hashtags can be treated like keywords and help lead new followers to finding your content. Be sure to measure the hashtags you use, stay aware of new trending hashtags and measure to see what hashtags are working and which ones may need to be adjusted.
Next, make sure to upgrade your profile to a business or creator account to take advantage of being able to learn more about your followers and others who viewed and engaged with your content. The Activity tab will provide you with additional insights about impressions, profile visits and more about who saved and shared your content.
In addition to using hashtags, you can also utilize tagging locations and writing engaging post descriptions. Tags help additional users to find you through others pages and using the insights that Instagram provides to you, you can better tailor your post communications to your followers.
