Washington Federal Foundation Awards Grant To TMM Family Services
(TUCSON, Ariz. – Dec. 22, 2016) – Washington Federal, a full-service national banking institution with 30 branches across Arizona and eight in Pima County alone, was proud to donate $1,000 to TMM Family Services this month through its Washington Federal Foundation corporate giving program. The mission of the Washington Federal Foundation is to facilitate direct giving to community-based nonprofits serving the needs of low and moderate-income individuals.
“Washington Federal believes giving back is an essential part of doing business in a community,” said Kim Dees, Washington Federal senior vice president and Southern Arizona Division Manager. “We are proud to be able to give to those local nonprofits, especially at this time of year when the need is even greater with the holidays approaching.”
TMM Family Services has been serving Southern Arizona since 1974. One aspect of their services is providing transitional and long-term housing options to those in need from foster care to senior living. TMM strives to make Southern Arizona a better, healthier community.
The Foundation is currently accepting grant requests from local organizations like Phoenix Children’s and Tumbleweed across Arizona.
