REDW Advisors & CPAs Welcomes Tom Thornton as Technology Solutions Principal
(AUSTIN – Dec. 1, 2024) – REDW Advisors and CPAs is pleased to welcome Tom Thornton as a Principal in its Technology Solutions department, helping clients become more effective through the modernization and optimization of business software solutions, training, and data analytics. In his role, Thornton will be focused on driving growth for Technology Solutions, enhancing client experience, and expanding the scope of technology-related services REDW provides to nonprofit organizations, Tribal Nations and their enterprises, government agencies, and small to mid-sized businesses.
Thornton brings nearly 30 years of experience to the role, most recently as Practice Director, Not-For-Profit Lead, and Healthcare Finance Industry Lead at Net at Work LLP, and as Chief Operating Officer of JMT Consulting Group, Inc., an independent technology consulting firm focused exclusively on the not-for-profit market. He will serve each of REDW’s four offices nationwide as well as the firm’s remote and global workforce. Thornton earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He is based in the Austin, TX area and is actively involved in the local community. Most recently, he has served as a volunteer with Capital Area Food Bank in Texas and is a past volunteer and treasurer with the Boy Scouts of America.
