Subway Kids & Sports Surprises Two Lucky Students at Desert Cove Elementary School

(PHOENIX – Nov. 14, 2019) – Subway Kids & Sports of Arizona, in partnership with Subway Restaurants of Arizona, Dasani Water, Shamrock Farms and The Be Kind People Project, recognized two special students at Desert Cove Elementary in Phoenix this November as part of its Cycle for Success program. Through a teacher-led nomination process, wherein educators are asked to submit nominations highlighting students’ good works both inside and outside of the classroom, one second grader and one fifth grader were chosen to be surprised with bikes, helmets and locks, as well as Subway lunches for their entire classes.

Arizona Teachers Receive $1 Million in Grants from Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers, Powered by DriveTime

(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct. 29, 2019) – As part of its mission to benefit Arizonans through youth, sports and education, the Fiesta Bowl organization and its Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers program, powered by DriveTime has donated $1 million total to 200 Arizona teachers for the second straight year. This $1 million granting is believed to be the largest donation to Arizona teachers.

Badge Bash 2019 Raises $280,000 for Local Girl Scouting
