Jennifer Young Appointed Director of JFCS Michael R. Zent Healthcare Center
(PHOENIX, Ariz. – July 29, 2021) –Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) has appointed Jennifer Young to the position of director of the JFCS Michael R. Zent Healthcare Center.
According to JFCS’ Vice President of Integrated Health Mary Jo Whitfield, “Jennifer is a seasoned veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the behavioral health industry. She will bring the steady leadership and essential expertise we need to support the Valley community.”
The JFCS Michael R. Zent Healthcare Center offers primary care services, including physicals, wellness exams, immunizations, and behavioral healthcare services that include individual and group therapy. Featuring state-of-the-art equipment and an enhanced large play therapy area, the healthcare center serves new and existing clients and their families.
Most recently, Young was director of the JFCS adult case management program. Prior experience includes direct care clinician, clinical supervisor, quality assurance clinical supervisor and director of outpatient services at the provider and plan level.
Young received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Arizona State University and a Master of Counseling at University of Phoenix.
