Jeffrey Anthony CFP® Named Among Forbes Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors
(TEMPE, Ariz. – Aug. 28, 2024) – Wilde Wealth Management Group is pleased to announce that chief growth officer Jeffrey Anthony CFP® has been named among Forbes 2024 Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors, coming in at No. 18 across Arizona. The Forbes Top Next-Gen Advisors Best-In-State list features 1,621 top professionals nationwide who cumulatively manage nearly $2.8 trillion in assets.
The Forbes Next-Gen Wealth Advisors rankings, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criterion—mostly gained through telephone, virtual, and in-person due diligence interviews—and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of four years’ experience, and the algorithm weighs factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass the highest standards of best practices. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK receive a fee in exchange for rankings.
“In our industry, the average age of an advisor is over 55, and according to the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, less than one third of advisors today are under the age of 40,” said Trevor Wilde, MBA, AIF®, co-founder, CEO, and managing principal of Wilde Wealth Management Group. “Up-and-coming professionals like Jeff – those who are wholly dedicated to their work, families, and the community – are the future of our industry, a future that is looking bright.”
As chief growth officer of Wilde Wealth Management Group, Anthony – a Chandler native and resident who works from the firm’s rapidly growing Tempe office – serves as a member of the executive leadership team, leading organic and inorganic growth strategies for the firm while focusing on clients and assets as well as advisor mentorship, management, and development. He also partners with fellow advisors on succession planning programs that fit both their needs and those of their clients.
Prior to joining Wilde, Anthony worked for more than a decade at JPMorgan Chase. From 2014 to 2018, he ranked in the top 10% of client advisors for JP Morgan and also ranked among the top Private Client Advisors in the areas of customer retention and satisfaction. Anthony earned his Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies Business/Communication degree from Arizona State University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He holds Series 7, 63, 65, and 66 securities registrations, as well as the Arizona Life and Health Insurance Producers License.
Within the community, Anthony is an appointed member of PCH 50, a remarkable group of 50 community leaders who tirelessly advocate for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Through fundraising efforts since 2016, PCH 50 has raised more than $6.7 million for Phoenix Children’s as it continues to deliver innovative and impactful pediatric care to Arizona children. He is also a volunteer with Junior Achievement’s BizTown, and contributor to the Knights of Columbus as well as the Turnbow Foundation, is committed to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and their families through charitable giving. A leader within Wilde for Arizona – the firm’s community giving division – Anthony has also rolled up his sleeves on a number of firmwide volunteer and philanthropic initiatives, notably projects for Feed My Staring Children and Chrysalis.
At home, Anthony and his wife, Lisa, are always on the go with their three children – Brody, Brooklyn, and Jaxon – as well as their honorary fourth child, a French bulldog named Layla. In his spare time, Anthony enjoys traveling with his family and is an avid car enthusiast.
