Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Unveils Dealers School Program

(MARICOPA, Ariz. – May 19, 2022) Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino, Arizona’s first and only tribal casino to have an international management partner, today unveiled a new Dealer School Program. The eight to 10-week program enables prospective employees to master the gaming industry’s most popular table games with an opportunity to work the casino floor, earning valuable experience and money.

The Dealer School begins with a two-week Program that has participants learn how to deal Blackjack. Upon completion, participants test for mastery and, if successful, are offered a paid position that allows them to work on the casino floor. Participants will then spend three days on the floor dealing Blackjack and the other two days a week in the classroom to learn a new table game.

Upon successfully completing the program, participants will graduate having mastered the following table games: Blackjack, Mississippi Stud, 3 Card Poker, High Card Flush, Texas Hold’em, Fortune Pai Gow Poker, and Roulette.
