Barron’s Names Trevor Wilde Among Top 100 Independent Advisors in the Country
(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Sept. 28, 2023) – Wilde Wealth Management Group, an award-winning financial services firm that provides comprehensive retirement, investment, real estate, insurance, legal and tax planning services all under one roof, is pleased to announce that founder and CEO Trevor Wilde, MBA, AIF® bas been named among Barron’s Top 100 Independent Advisors in the Country for 2023. This is Wilde’s first year on the list, earning No. 50 in the national ranking. He is one of only two advisors from Arizona to make the list.
The honor comes on the heels of Wilde being named to Barron’s annual list of Top 1,200 Advisors Nationwide and No. 1 overall in Arizona earlier this spring. In addition, in recent months Wilde Wealth Management Group was named to Barron’s annual list of the Top 100 Private Wealth Management Teams in the nation.
Barron’s publishes four individual advisor rankings each year (Top 100 Advisors, Top 100 Women Advisors, Top 100 Independent Advisors, Top 1,200 Advisors) along with three team- or firm-based rankings (Top RIA Firms, Top Institutional Consultants, Top Wealth Management Firms). The goal is to shine a spotlight on the nation’s best financial advisors, with an eye toward raising standards in the industry. The rankings serve two distinct types of Barron’s readers. For wealth management professionals, they serve as an industry scorecard. For investors, rankings are a tool that can help in the process of finding financial guidance.
Advisors who wish to be ranked fill out a 102-question survey about their practice. The data is then verified with the advisors’ firms and with regulatory databases and editors apply their rankings formula to the data to generate a ranking. The formula features three major categories of calculations: (1) Assets (2) Revenue (3) Quality of practice.
The firm’s responsible growth, expertise as it relates to client service and community stewardship have led to several other awards in addition to the most recent announcements.
In April, Forbes named Wilde to its 2023 Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list. Only 150 advisors from across Arizona were named to the prestigious list, with Wilde being named the No. 2 overall advisor statewide. This is his third year in a row earning the No. 2 overall ranking. Wilde has also been recognized as an “AZ Business Angel” by AZ Business Magazine and as a “Most Admired Leader” in Arizona by the Phoenix Business Journal. Firm chief operating officer Jaclyn Yoder has also been recognized among the “40 Under 40” by the Phoenix Business Journal. In 2022, the firm was selected to BestCompaniesAZ’s “Most Admired Companies,” its second year in a row earning the honor. Wilde Wealth was also named a finalist for the Phoenix Business Journal’s “Small Business of the Year Awards.”
