‘Back To The Future: Reimagining Arizona’s Competitiveness’ To Be Topic At Arizona Association for Economic Development’s June Luncheon

(PHOENIX – May 19, 2017)  – “Back To The Future: Reimagining Arizona’s Competiveness” will be the topic at the Arizona Association for Economic Development’s (AAED) June luncheon.   It will be held on June 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at 2901 N. Seventh St. in Phoenix.

AAED’s president, Curt Woody, AZED Pro, economic development and tourism director for the Town of Marana, will emcee a panel discussion featuring four past AAED presidents:  Danielle Casey, CEcD, economic development director for the city of Scottsdale; Evelyn Casuga, CEcD, of Central Arizona College; Brian Dalke, CEcD, Goodyear’s city manager; and Garrett Newland, vice president of development for Macerich.

The panel, whose tenure as AAED president spans the last 20 years, will reflect upon the projects and events that shaped economic development in Arizona during their terms. They will also examine the role that economic development practitioners and providers can play to ensure Arizona remains competitive in an ever-changing economic development landscape.

The cost of the luncheon is $40 for AAED members and guests, $55 for non-members and $60 for late registrants.
