“Arizona’s Mining Economy – What’s The Future?” To Be Topic At AAED’s November Luncheon
(TUCSON – October 5, 2017) – “Arizona’s Mining Economy – What’s The Future?” will be the topic at the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED)’s next Southern Arizona luncheon, Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Arizona Inn, located at 2200 E. Elm St., in Tucson.
Jerry Bustamante, community relations manager for Hudbay Minerals, Inc., David Rhoades, general manager for Freeport-McMoRan Inc.’s Sierrita operations, and Nancy Johannesmeyer, senior environmental affairs manager for Asarco, will be the speakers.
The three representatives, each from active mining companies in Arizona, will discuss the current and future economic climate of the industry and its overall economic impact on the state.
