American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall Coming To Casino Del Sol, Nov. 6-11
Memorial Wall Travels the Country Honoring Men and Women Who Served Our Nation
(TUCSON, Ariz. – Oct. 29, 2019) – Casino Del Sol will host the American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) memorial wall, Nov. 6-11, 2019 at Casino Del Sol’s Pool Lawn to honor our nation’s military and veterans.
The AVTT wall’s mission is to remember and honor the men and women who have served, and to pay tribute to those who have given their time and lives in service. The mobile wall allows people to pay their respects without having to travel great distances.
The AVTT wall is an 80% scale version of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. The 360-foot long wall contains every name etched on the original wall in Washington. At its apex the memorial is an impressive eight-feet tall and is the largest replica wall traveling the country.
The wall will be open for viewing at the Casino Del Sol Pool Lawn beginning Thursday, Nov. 7 through Monday, Nov. 11. The public is invited to come view the wall, pay their respects, and honor the veterans and active military personnel in their lives. Admission to view the exhibit is free.
