ACCEL Announces Promotion of Michelle Rouse to Senior Coordinator of Admissions

(PHOENIX, Ariz. – Aug. 24, 2021) – ACCEL, a private, nonprofit organization serving children and adults who have developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, behavior disorders and intellectual disabilities, has promoted Michelle Rouse to Senior Coordinator of Admissions.

As Senior Coordinator of Admissions, Rouse will oversee the admissions of all four ACCEL campuses in Arizona and have a role in planning community and educational partner outreach.

“We are honored to have Michelle on the team and look forward to watching her continued success at ACCEL,” says Jessie Bustamante, chief advancement officer of ACCEL.

Rouse, a Surprise resident, joined ACCEL as a substitute teacher in 2019. Since then, she has served as Operations Coordinator and Community Relations Coordinator for ACCEL.

Rouse holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies from Arizona State University’s College of Human Services and is currently working on her Master’s of Business Administration from Liberty University. She looks forward to expanding her involvement in special education across Arizona for years to come.
