AAED Raises Funds For Arizona Angels For Children

(PHOENIX – Dec.13, 2018) — The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) presented a check for $6,800 to Arizona Angels for Children at AAED’s annual charity luncheon and raffle. Avis Lopez (left), director for Arizona Angels for Children, accepted the check from AAED President-elect Nicole Snyder of Johnson Carlier and AAED Executive Director Joyce Grossman.

Proceeds from a silent auction and raffle ticket sales were donated to Arizona Angels for Children, which helps children in foster care and long-term placement. The organization works to ensure that children are cared for in a safe and productive environment. It also offers resources, such as teaching the children life skills, how to apply for a job, how to play sports, develop social skills, enhance self-esteem and build team work.

AAED, founded in 1974, has a mission to serve as Arizona’s unified voice advocating for responsible economic development through an effective program of professional education, public policy and collaboration. For more information on AAED, visit www.aaed.com.
