W.J. Maloney Plumbing Bolsters Capabilities; Joins Forces with Hayes Mechanical
(PHOENIX – Aug. 15, 2016) W.J. Maloney Plumbing has merged with Hayes Mechanical to strengthen its capabilities.
Now operating as a division of Hayes Mechanical, W.J. Maloney Plumbing has been a trusted name in the Valley for more than 50 years, providing new commercial plumbing construction, working with the best general contractors in the area. W.J. Maloney Plumbing will also continue to provide commercial plumbing service and residential plumbing service.
Hayes Mechanical is new to the Valley but has been in business since 1918, serving multiple markets across the nation. Hayes provides HVACR service for both commercial and residential customers, low-pressure and high-pressure boiler maintenance and steam and process piping maintenance.
“Having the capabilities and reputations of these two companies under one roof will be an asset to our current and future customers throughout the state,” said Kathryn “Kitty” Maloney-Langmade, who will oversee business development for the W.J. Maloney division.
Bob Duey, division director for Hayes Mechanical, said both companies are long-standing family and employee-owned businesses who are known for their quality and craftsmanship in all facets of the plumbing and HVACR industry.
“We could not have a better, more-established and respected partner as we enter the Arizona marketplace,” Duey said. “Combining our resources, expertise, commitment to safety, quality and efficiency, along with our industry knowledge, will help us continue to grow as we work together to add value to our customers’ projects.”
Founded in 1918, Hayes Mechanical is a pioneer in the boiler, construction and repair industry with management now in the third generation of the original Dan Hayes Boiler Co. Hayes Mechanical prides itself in being a union contractor which employs trained and qualified boilermakers, pipefitters, HVACR service technicians, millwrights, plumbers, electricians, iron workers and laborers across 10 states.
Since 1964, W.J. Maloney Plumbing has been a leading plumbing contractor in the greater metropolitan Phoenix area. Working with many of the largest general contractors, the company has provided exemplary design build plumbing, from tenant improvement to complex multi-story projects that include many of the most prominent public and private-sector buildings throughout the state.
