Negativity and Hypocrisy

I am already sick and tired of the negativity and hypocrisy we are inundated with during every TV commercial break with the endless schedule of political ads. If you’ve watched any TV recently, you likely also realize there seems to be no escape.  And, we’ve got two more months of it.

It would be so refreshing to have an ad that was something like this:

“I am (so-and-so), running for (office).

My core values include integrity, hard work and transparency.

The key issues I would like to bring to the table are: (issue one, issue two and issue three).

Please get out and vote.  Your voice in the political process is important.

Thank you.”
