This month, we’ve had the great opportunity to spend some time with her as well as put together some articles for the magazine.
What have we learned – the woman is a DYNAMO!
Today, we welcome her to our weekly #MediaMonday column so you all can learn a little more too!
So, Chrissy, what do you want to tell the blogosphere about yourself today?
Hello! My lifelong passion for fitness and sports has led me to opportunities in the media and journalism arena. I have freelanced as a television host for more than six years covering red carpet film premieres to sit-down interviews with actors, producers, directors and athletes. Locally, I provided viewers with relevant information as a fitness expert for two years. I thrive on inspiring others to achieve their personal best, which is why being a part of the fitness and wellness industry has always been near and dear to my heart. My passion to motivate and inspire has allowed me to work as a contributing writer for many local and national publications for nearly 10 years.
I’m originally from suburban Chicago and have been an Arizona resident for 13 years. (wow, it’s been that long?) I am extremely active! You can usually find me playing golf, skating (I’m a former competitive figure skater) and attending sporting events or searching out new hot spots around the Valley.
Recently I was offered the position as Editor-in-Chief for 202 Magazine. It was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up, and has been an amazing experience thus far. Sondra Barr did an exceptional job since the conception of the publication, so I know I have big shoes to fill!
Please feel free to contact me with any inspirational and motivational stories you may have. We are now, Inspiration in the East Valley. J
Many thanks & blessings,
