International Economic Development Council Appoints Mignonne Hollis to Board of Directors

(SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. – Dec. 14, 2020) – The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) has appointed Mignonne Hollis, president of the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED), to serve on the IEDC Board of Directors.

Hollis has been an active IEDC member for many years, most recently serving as committee chair on the Public Policy Advisory Committee.  In addition to her role as president of AAED, she serves as the executive director of the Arizona Regional Economic Development Foundation. Hollis also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Small Business Association and the International Boundary and Water Commission.

Previously, Hollis was named economic developer of the year and led the Arizona Regional Economic Development Foundation to be honored as small organization of the year. In her effort to support economic development in Arizona, Hollis co-writes a weekly advice column for business owners in the Sierra Vista Herald Review.

“Mignonne has played a monumental role in the development in southern Arizona,” said Carrie Kelly, executive director of AAED. “She has proven her dedication to economic growth time and time again not only in rural Arizona, but throughout the entire state and we’re glad to have her voice heard on the IEDC Board of Directors.”
