Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino and CodeGreen Leader Participates in Native American Recognition Day 2023
(MARICOPA, Ariz.–Oct. 13, 2023)–The CodeGreen team at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino supported and celebrated Native American Recognition Day (NARD) on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Milton “Paul” Antone Memorial Park.
NARD focuses on sharing traditions and artwork from different Native American cultures. This year’s celebration featured dance group performances, artist demonstrations, face painting and information booths. The Harrah’s Ak- Chin CodeGreen team presented a sustainability education booth as a part of the celebration. CodeGreen is an organization-wide initiative that drives environmental awareness and demonstrates Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino’s commitment to being responsible stewards of the environment.
