Economic Development Champion

(YUMA, Ariz. – Jan. 28, 2020) – Sen. Lisa Otondo (D-Yuma) was recognized by the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) with a 2019 Economic Development Champion Award.  Otondo was the lead on water issues going into the 2019 legislative session and was a tremendous advocate for passage of the Drought Contingency Plan (DCP).  Nicole Snyder, (right) AAED’s president and director of business strategies for Johnson Carlier, presented the award.
