Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) Elects David Landis as President

PHOENIX, April 24, 2013 – Public Relations Global Network (PRGN), one of the world’s leading international networks of independent public relations agencies, with founding member Phoenix-based HMA Public Relations, announced the election of David Landis of Landis Communications Inc. in San Francisco as its new president.

Landis will lead the worldwide network of 47 independently owned public relations agencies on six continents. He succeeds Mark Paterson of Currie Communications in Australia. Other appointments include Uwe Schmidt, president of Hamburg-based PR firm Industrie-Contact, who has been named president-elect, and secretary CL Conroy from Miami-based Conroy Martinez, who succeeds Patricia Perez of VPE in Los Angeles.

Uwe Schmidt Named PRGN President Elect

Uwe Schmidt, president of Hamburg-based PR firm Industrie Contact, was named president-elect of PRGN. “As a member since 2002 I have seen this network grow and develop tremendously,” said Schmidt.  “PRGN is a business-driven network comprised of brilliant practitioners representing global markets.  We have not only become professional colleagues, but we have formed longstanding friendships.”
