Families Giving Back Hosting Volunteer Event at Phoenix Children’s Hospital

WHAT: Families Giving Back, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and helping families with kids of all ages volunteer together is partnering with Phoenix Children’s Hospital to host a family volunteer event. The family volunteers will work together to assemble art project bags for patients of the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

The art project bags will contain all of the materials and instructions for several fun art projects that patients of Phoenix Children’s Hospital can do in their rooms. In addition to assembling bags, family volunteers will also be filling glue syringes (used for art projects), assembling activity books and making a special art project to be given to patients for their mothers.

This event is a very fun and rewarding way to give back and help bring smiles to the patients. Families Giving Back is proud to be the first group with community volunteers under the age of 16 that Phoenix Children’s Hospital has allowed to volunteer on the Phoenix Children’s Hospital campus.

COST: Free! Families Giving Back will be providing all of the supplies needed for the art project bags. But, if you cannot attend and would like to make a monetary donation, please visit here.
