Faegre Baker Daniels Announces Firmwide and Denver Leadership Positions for 2013

(March 21, 2013) — Faegre Baker Daniels LLP has announced its firmwide leadership positions for 2013, including Natalie Hanlon-Leh as the new leader of the intellectual property group and Heather Carson Perkins as the new Denver office leader.

Hanlon-Leh transitions from her previous role as Denver office leader to leader of the national intellectual property practice group. As a partner and senior trial lawyer focusing on intellectual property protection and litigation, she serves as lead counsel in complex patent, copyright, trademark and trade secrets cases. Most recently, Hanlon-Leh secured a $12 million jury verdict in a patent infringement and trade dress case for a division of L’Oreal and scored an appellate victory for Life is good Inc. in a copyright dispute.

Hanlon-Leh has been recognized as the Colorado IP Litigation Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers and has twice been named Colorado’s Best Trademark Lawyer by Law Week Colorado, among other accolades. Since 2004, she has been an adjunct professor of patent litigation at the University of Colorado School of Law.

She has successfully litigated cases from inception through appeal on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in federal, state and arbitration proceedings across the country and abroad. As office leader, Perkins will guide the firm’s community initiatives and serve as a representative of the firm in the Denver community.
