DrugFreeAZKids.org to host “MDMA & Molly: Not Your Girl Next Door” Webinar

WHAT: Molly may sound like the harmless girl next door, but this is just the latest slang for MDMA. This increasingly popular term, commonly used in music and other media, is altering youth perception of the risk of MDMA. Aside from MDMA, Molly typically brings along her toxic friends of unknown chemicals mixed right in, unbeknownst to users. This webinar will take a deeper look at Molly as well as what parents and caring adults can do to keep kids safe.

DrugFreeAZKids.org is the leading source of information about preventing youth substance abuse. One key way of prevention is to talk early and often about the dangers of substance abuse with your children. Kids can begin to hear messages about making healthy choices as early as preschool. This is especially important since the average age of first time drug use in Arizona is 13 years old. By participating in this webinar, we will help you prepare for such discussions.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from noon to 12:30 p.m.
