AAED Spring Conference to Focus on the Future of the State of Arizona’s Economy

The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) will host its annual Spring Conference, May 6 – 8, 2015, at the Prescott Resort in Prescott.  The conference, “Economic Revolution,” will focus on the future of the state of Arizona’s economy.

Robert Atkinson, president, The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, will deliver the keynote address, “The Economic Revolution.”

Atkinson is one of the country’s foremost thinkers on innovation economics.  With an extensive background in technology policy, he has conducted ground-breaking research projects on technology and innovation and is a valued advisor to state and national policy makers.   He will share his perspective on the economic revolution as it pertains to culture, technology and globalization on the national level.

Other topics at the conference will include “Technology and Innovation Revolution in Arizona,” “Cultural Revolution in Arizona” and “Future of Arizona in the Global Economy”.

In addition to educational programming, the conference features AAED’s annual EDDE Awards banquet recognizing Arizona’s top economic developers.

Cost for the conference is: $345 for AAED member-practitioners, $395 for AAED member-providers and $495 for non-members.  The registration fee does not include accommodations.
