#MediaMonday – Case Kenny

Cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame
Wake up the echoes cheering her name.
Send a volley cheer on high,
Shake down the thunder from the sky.
What tho’ the odds be great or small,
Old Notre Dame will win over all,
While her loyal sons are marching
Onward to victory!
Okay, fine! So it wasn’t exactly a banner year for my Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
But, despite their lackluster performance on the field, the school is still churning out genius after genius in the classroom – so there, haters!
Case in point – today’s #MediaMonday, Case Kenny.  The Notre Dame alum is founder and editor-in-chief of PRSUIT.com, a daily online publication that features stories and experiences from millennials on a variety of topics with one core fundamental value – experiences, as well as The Hustle Sold Separately Podcast, which just posted its milestone 100th podcast last week.
So, Case, what do you want to tell the blogosphere about yourself today?
I am passionate about experiences and inspiring my millennial peers to never regret seeking out new experiences and perspectives in life. I am a firm believer in the absolute power of storytelling and its power to change perspectives. I am also a firm believer that if you dream big and want more from life, you need to demand more from those who are influencing public opinion – namely online publishers.
I created the PRSUIT.com platform after graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 2011 as a means to challenge my peers to not simply accept what they read online at face value. I created it to encourage my peers to demand transparency from today’s online ‘gurus’ and publications who create ‘lists’ and generic motivational rhetoric. All of our articles feature stories first and then conclusions and motivational takeaways – something that my cynical millennial comrades demand to truly take a piece of content to heart! I have been absolutely blown away by the reception PRSUIT has received – features in INC Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine, Forbes, CBS, The Chicago Tribune, and more.
Along the way I teamed up with my business partner Matt Gottesman from HDFmagazine.com and advisors Adam and Matthew Toren – who used to own North Valley Magazine and other local publications, and founded YoungEntrepreneur.com, which was acquired by Entrepreneur Media, and current owners of BizWarriors.com –  as we bonded around the purpose/mission of transparency and embracing the journey. Matt and I created The Hustle Sold Separately Podcast as a means to bring the not always glamorous side of creative endeavors (artists, musicians, entertainers, entrepreneurs, etc.) to life and to do so in a unique way that inspires others to embrace their journey and not glamorize end successes. The podcast has been life changing and has allowed me to engage with and learn from some of today’s most innovative creative minds… even becoming a Forbes #1 ranked podcast in the process!
As I grew PRSUIT.com and Matt and I grew our listeners on The Hustle Sold Separately Podcast, we decided to go all in on this model of transparency, content of substance. We created Trep Media Group which unites all of our brands, social media and consulting services which we offer to brands and companies looking to market themselves authentically.
I live and work in Chicago, while Matt is out in Scottsdale, and I love meeting millennial entrepreneurs who are creating projects of value that embrace transparency and the journey. I can be reached at case@prsuit.com. I’d love to share your story on PRSUIT to our growing audience. If you have a story to share, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
