HMA worked with her when she was the marketing director for Scottsdale Fashion Square some 25 years ago!
It was said at the awards luncheon that she operates at warp speed. I’d say so. Ziegler has volunteered for more than 30 non-profit organizations in the Valley, including another HMA Public Relations client, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.
Ziegler might be best known for her work with the Fiesta Bowl, where she has held leadership positions for 30-plus years. Among her biggest feats there was in 2006 when, as chairman of the board, she led a 28-person staff and 3,000 community volunteers in the staging of three national college football bowl games in 11 days, including the national championship game. That doesn’t even include 50 other statewide bowl-related events over a 17-day period! She was the first person in the country to pull-off something like that.
That’s really just the tip of the iceberg on her commitment to the Valley, serving as a true example for everyone.
Ziegler definitely exemplifies the theme of the 65th Annual Man and Woman of the Year Luncheon: “Dare to Lead.”
