Twitter Stays up LateWe’ve all seen Jeopardy, the game show in which the contestants answer in the form of a question.

Along those same lines, those who are old enough to remember the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson might recall Carnac the Magnificent, a “mystic from the East” who could come up with answers to unknown questions.

Even before Carnac, there was Steve Allen's essentially identical “Answer Man” segment, which Allen performed during his tenure as the Tonight Show’s host in the 1950s.

Well, the bit has re-emerged on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon – only now using Twitter responses!

Fallon’s “In Reply To” segment uses a tweet from someone famous, a response to a tweet directed at them -- and he cleverly provides his version of what the question was.

So, has the 140-character social media platform reiterated to us that it is entrenched and is here to stay, or has Twitter become a joke?

If Carnac happened to be on Twitter, what would he tweet about this?
