rimsBy now, I’m sure everyone has seen or heard of #AlexFromTarget. And, I’m sure you have seen the theories that the viral content was a marketing ploy (that worked).

With the success of this content and the ALS challenge, we live in a world where anything can become viral in the matter of hours.  Including the negative scandals like the Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson debacles.

With the power of the internet, anyone or anything can become ‘famous’ for any reason – good bad or otherwise.

What do you think about these viral topics? Do you think they do more harm than good?
