Abbie making her momma proud - per usual

Woo Hoo! Congrats to our own Abbie S. Fink, who has been named a 2010 Frank W. Hodges Award winner by Scottsdale Leadership for her service and dedication to the local community. She and the other recipients will be honored at the Spirit of Community Leadership Awards Luncheon on Dec. 10 at the Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center.

So, why Abbie, you ask?

  • As President of Scottsdale Leadership in 2006-2007, Abbie played a crucial role in ensuring the organization’s future success. She provided strong leadership as the organization experienced 11 months without an executive director on staff and managed to pull off a blockbuster 20th Anniversary Celebration at the same time.
  • As a leader in the public relations industry, most notably with the Public Relations Society of America’s Phoenix Chapter and Counselor’s Academy, which focuses on helping practitioners discover and implement best practices to help their respective firms succeed. She has presented at local and national conferences, sharing her knowledge and has served on various committees organizing the Academy’s conferences.
  • As a board member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale, Abbie also works tirelessly to position the organization as an expert in children’s issues. She’s also chairman of the marketing committee and co-chair of the Celebrate Youth Gala and Auction, honoring the club’s youth of the year candidates.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Join us in congratulating our girl!
