This #MediaMonday, we are taking the chance to hear what you all have to say when it comes to one of our favorite, regular media events – PRSA Media Breakfasts!
As many of you know, we work with the PRSA Professional Development Cluster to put on the media breakfasts each year. With your help, we were able to put on several great programs this year including panelists from all major television stations as well as print, weekly and daily publications in the area.
But that was then and this is now.
So, for 2011, what do you want to see? We have a few ideas below but would love to hear your thoughts as well. Comment below and let your voice be heard – you might just inspire a 2011 media breakfast panel.

How about a local government PIO panel?
Great Idea, Eric. But perhaps better suited for a luncheon topic? The breakfasts are actually media members, who talk about how they got into writing, producing, etc…and then give ideas on how to better work with them to secure stories for clients, brands, events, etc…I will send this idea on to the lunch folks for sure, though!
Would love to see the digital department from the azcentral/Arizona Republic on the panel to discuss the trends and changes on how they receive information and transform it to a digital format.
Other ideas include…
Hispanic media (print and TV)
Media from different outlets representing specific beats like small business, medical, consumer interest, technology, food, etc.
Local bloggers
West Valley publications
East Valley publications
AZCentral.com panel
Suggestion: evening producers. I want to know more about how they tick!
What about niche/tech/lifestyle/health mags like:
