A little insider info sent from our friend Tyson Milanovich at Channel 3 - thought we'd help spread the word about the big changes over there...
I apologize for the informality of a mass e-mail, but it's imperative that I get this to you as soon as possible. For those of you who have been working with me over the past 2+ years on Good Day Arizona, I want to take a moment to share some important information with you.
First, Good Day Arizona will be switching to a half-hour format, beginning on Monday, June 23rd. The show will air live from 11am to 11:30am, and will feature one in-studio guest segment per show.
This will create a huge challenge for us, as the current format allows for up to four guest segments per show. We are currently working on re-formulating our guest calendar going forward. If you have a regularly schedule guest segment (weekly or monthly), we're hoping to have a new calendar set by the end of this week. If you are a chef or have booked a one-time segment after June 20th, I regret to inform you that this e-mail is to inform you that your booking has been cancelled.
There are a number of other opportunities here at 3TV, and I would highly recommend touching base with one of our other shows to see if they can fit you into their schedule.

Further, I will not be continuing with the new Good Day Arizona format, although I won't be going very far. Before the end of the month, I will be transitioning over to the Good Evening Arizona team, working on our evening newscast.
The next producer of Good Day Arizona is Gretchen Pahia, whom many of you know as our current 10pm producer. Frank Camacho will continue on Good Day Arizona as the solo anchor of the show. Olivia Fierro will be joining Scott Pasmore on our new early morning newscast, beginning at 4:30am.

I know that's a lot to digest. I've been fortunate enough to speak to some of you already about this, but I wanted to make sure you got all of the information straight.
If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note or give me a call. I'll still be working hard on our shows for the first three weeks of the month, and helping Gretchen formulate her new schedule going forward. Sorry, but we're booked solid through our last weeks of the one-hour format.
Please update your records and continue to send pitches and story ideas to email@example.com. I get those too.
Thanks so much for all of your help and support over the past couple of years... I really appreciate it.
