Our agency has reached a significant milestone. February marks our 35th anniversary. As far as we know, that makes us the oldest, continuously operating independent PR firm in the Phoenix area. We’re extremely proud of that.
And if you know me, you know I like to celebrate big events like anniversaries and birthdays. When we hit the 2-0, we had a client breakfast featuring Bob Farrell, of Farrell’s Ice Cream fame, who talked to us about client service. (He wrote a great book called Give ‘Em the Pickle). At the quarter century mark, we had a shindig at the office. Our 30th anniversary year included 30 community service projects (10 staff-directed, 10-client directed and 10 came from our Facebook friends).
So how will we commemorate our 35th? By doing random acts of kindness. We have given each member of our team 35 one dollar bills. The only guideline is they have to give all the money away by the close of business February 13 (which happens to also be the end of Random Acts of Kindness Week, (#RAKWeek2015) and take a picture or two of the random acts.
We’ll share our acts on our social channels, following the hashtags #Kindness35 and #HMA35 to see what we’re up to.
