A sample of the FABULOUS hug you will recieve for simply bringing us a few socks!

It’s been 11 months, and HMA’s quest to celebrate its 30th anniversary throughout 2010 by doing 30 things for our community is still going strong.

Today, we are proud to announce our first-ever sock drive to benefit the local Salvation Army.

Here is how you can help:

  • Collect or buy some new socks
  • Drive to HMA
  • Drop the socks off with us
  • Receive hug from us for helping out

We will collect through Friday, December 10 at 3 p.m.

And it is just that easy!

We’re hoping for at least 300 pairs, so who’s with us?

  1. A special thanks to Mike, Doug, Yvette, Johnna, Christy and everyone else who brought us socks already – we love you!

  2. Scott, Abbie et al. I am so impressed with what you are doing to celebrate your 30th anniversary. Congratulations! Cheers, David Landis

  3. Thanks Dave. We’ve got a great team, all who are committed to doing good things in our community. This was a fun endeavor for us. And cheers to you on your 20th!

  4. Sandra Fink says:

I want to personally thank HMA for sponsoring a sock drive. My students collected socks and brought them to a homeless shelter and they really felt proud of the community service they provided. Congratulations on 30 years of service.

  5. Thank you, sister friend, for such a great idea.

  6. A different version of “Stocking Stuffers.”

  7. Congrats! This is our second year of SOCKS. We are collecting hundreds of pairs for homeless and needy people in Vancouver and Toronto. The socks go to First United who host foot clinics for the homeless. Clean socks help so many with serious foot problems. Good luck.

  8. Go For It!! Break the 300 barrier. And send everyone at Contemporary PR a long distance international hug, our second year and we are over 1,000 pairs. Going for 1500. Just had our “Socks breakfast” with friends and clients.
