HMA is always thankful for its clients, but what are our clients thankful for?

This Thanksgiving Eve, we asked them and got some great responses. Enjoy them below and feel free to comment with your – and your clients’ – thanks:

Sherri Collins, executive director, Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing: I am thankful to have [my dogs] Baxter and Emma because they are happy to see me everyday. They love me no matter what and are always in a good mood. They make me smile!

Carol Goguen, executive director, SMACNA Arizona: I know it’s not very original, but I’m thankful for my health, family and friends, happiness and a great job that I love.

Carmen Green, deputy director, Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing: I am thankful for a loving, happy, healthy family!

Lisa Furr, outreach coordinator, Arizona Relay Service: I'm thankful for communication technologies that empower me to be independent making calls at anytime, anywhere without relying on someone else.

Jeff Miller, senior vice president of marketing & development, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale: “We are thankful for the laughter and noise of happy children, the trust in their eyes and the smile they give you when you see them in the Club. We are thankful for the unselfish donors that give of their treasure that allow our staff and volunteers to fill a void and provide hope to the children we see daily. They make it possible for the youth to reach for their dreams.”

Barbara Madden, marketing administrator, Keats, Connelly and Associates, LLC: “It sounds a little corny, but I'm very grateful to have a good job during very difficult economic times.

Courtney Hathaway, marketing manager, Grant Thornton LLP: Thankful for my wonderful friends, family, boyfriend, and the awesome life I have been graced with. Oh yeah and the beautiful Phoenix weather, this time of year anyway.

Kathryn “Kitty” Maloney-Langmade, president, W.J. Maloney Plumbing, Inc.: I am thankful for my wonderful family, including my three daughters – ages 5, 9 and 10 – who bring me laughter and a fresh perspective daily in life. You never know what my 5-year-old is going to say! I am thankful for all of my hard working, loyal employees who continue to help me claw and scratch my way through this amazingly difficult economy. I am thankful for my clients – those stand up general contractors, business and home owners, who continue to choose us to perform quality plumbing services even though there is always somebody cheaper waiting in the wings. And lastly I am thankful for my health; I have the opportunity to get up every day and try and do a better job.
