(PHOENIX - Dec. 22, 2016) - On Friday, Dec. 16, members of the Quarles & Brady Phoenix office came together to raise nearly $3,000 that was used to donate 362 sweaters to Capitol Elementary School, which is among the firm’s longest-term volunteer programs and partnerships.
For more than 25 years, Quarles & Brady’s attorney’s and staff members have volunteered each year as “homeroom parents” to this West Phoenix elementary school, serving as mentors and providing collaborative activities that engage all students ranging from Kindergarten to sixth grade.
This effort is one of many the local office takes part in through its Quarles Cares community relations program, which is focused on connecting directly with local communities to understand the residents’ needs. Through the volunteer initiatives, attorneys and staff commit themselves personally to civic and charitable efforts, and their personal growth is reflected in the workplace.
