The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) will host its Southern Arizona luncheon, “Job Wars Ahead,” on Wednesday, May 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Arizona Inn, located at 2200 E. Elm St., in Tucson.

Patrick Nelson, superintendent of the Amphitheater Unified School District, will address the importance of STEM programming in early childhood education and how that translates to a trainable workforce for economic development.  Lee Lambert, chancellor and CEO of Pima Community College, will discuss the important role PCC plays in the alignment of STEM and continuing education.

The cost of the luncheon is $40 for AAED members and guests and $50 for non-members and $55 for late registrants. To register, visit http://www.aaed.com/events.
