PHOENIX, Ariz. (September 2, 2015) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Cathleen T. Yu, an attorney in the firm's Phoenix office has been appointed to the board of directors for Children's Action Alliance (CAA).
Children's Action Alliance is an independent voice for Arizona children and families at the state capitol and the community. Through research, publications, media campaigns, and advocacy, Children's Action Alliance seeks to influence policies and decisions affecting the lives of Arizona children and their families on issues related to health, child abuse and neglect, early care and education, budget and taxes, juvenile justice, children and immigration, and working families.
Ms. Yu is a member of the firm's Business Law Practice Group. She represents clients in corporate finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and business transactions in industries including health care, aviation, education, financial services, manufacturing, and biotechnology. She received her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and her bachelor's degree, with honors, from the University of Chicago.
