AAED Spring Conference to Focus on Candid Conversations for Economic Developers

(PHOENIX – March 20, 2017) – The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) will host its annual Spring Conference, April 26-28 at the Nautical Beachfront Resort in Lake Havasu.  The conference focus will be:  “Candid Conversations for Your Community.”

Highlighting the conference will be a kick-off address by Michael Bidwell, president of the Arizona Cardinals.

There will be sessions on how today’s buildings impact what is built in the future,  how taxes drive relocation decisions, how labor markets and demographics effect expansions and relocations and how the growth of companies can translate into an economic boom..

Jim Hayden, CEO of Board Developer, will provide a luncheon keynote address on key questions to ask in the personal and professional development process.

Additionally, a panel of national site selectors will provide a candid assessment on what it will take for Arizona to attract more business opportunities.

In addition to educational programming, the conference features AAED’s annual EDDE Awards banquet recognizing Arizona’s top economic developers.

Early registration cost for the conference is: $395 for AAED members and $525 for non-members.  The registration fee does not include accommodations.
