AAED Fall Forum Slated for Sept. 16-18

(PHOENIX, July 10, 2015) The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) will host its annual Fall Forum, Sept. 16-18, 2015, at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Resort.

The conference, “Blueprint for Success,” will provide technical training to anyone interested in working in economic development.  Economic development experts will share economic tools, case studies for success and more in the topic areas that follow:

  • Economic climate,
  • USDA’s business and industry programs,
  • Legal use of business incentives,
  • Rural infrastructure,
  • Business expansion and retention tools;
  • New market tax credits,
  • Research methods for economic development; and
  • Successful prospecting and grant applications.

There will also be roundtable discussions on both rural and tribal economic development practices.

Additionally, the Golden Prospector Awards will be presented benchmarking success, recognizing the achievements of both economic development practitioners and service providers.

Cost for the forum is $385 for AAED members, $485 for non-members.  The registration fee does not include accommodations.   The registration deadline is Sept. 8.
